The Saskatchewan Association for the Betterment of Addiction Services (SABAS) is a registered non-profit volunteer association that has been in existence since 1978, first as SASKADAS and then SABAS.

Our Membership consists of a broad range of Saskatchewan individuals and organizations who believe that the availability of adequate alcoholism and addiction treatment is of primary concern.

We believe in taking responsibility at the local level as part of the wellness response, for alcoholism and addictions issues within our communities.

Mission Statement

We promote healthy lifestyles by developing community based strategies to educate and encourage individuals, families and communities affected by the disease of alcoholism and other addictions. The objectives of the association are the promotion of the continuum of care through prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of persons affected by the disease of alcoholism and/or chemical dependency.
