About Us
The Saskatchewan Association for the Betterment of Addiction Services (SABAS) is a registered non-profit volunteer association that has been in existence since 1978, first as SASKADAS and then as SABAS.
Our Membership consists of a broad range of Saskatchewan individuals and organizations who believe that the availability of adequate alcoholism and addiction treatment is of primary concern.
We believe in taking responsibility at the local level as part of the wellness response, for alcoholism and addictions issues within our communities.
Bursaries
SABAS has an educational fund for addiction workers to advance their counselling skills. We award Bursaries from the fund, twice a year. Appications are available from the SIAST Chemical Dependency Program Administrator.
Donations
We are grateful for all bequests, gifts, and donations. All donations over $10 will receive a charitable donation receipt. If you are interested in making a donation, please click here.
