The Saskatchewan Association for the Betterment of Addiction Services
History
SABAS was involved in the original research needed to create local services and took an active role in providing these services with assistance, encouragement, and formal recognition from what was formerly Alcohol and Drug Services and later the Saskatchewan Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission (SADAC).
Our services have been held in high regard by a wide range of individuals and organizations.SABAS is a highly credible organization with a great deal of expertise which has spent three decades advocating for and supporting alcohol and addiction services in the Province of Saskatchewan.
Bursaries
SABAS has an educational fund for addiction workers to advance their counselling skills. We award Bursaries from the fund, twice a year.
