SABAS is dedicated to the early identification and treatment of alcohol and drug addiction and to the standardization of the processes and resources throughout our communities and the Province of Saskatchewan. Research indicates that the number one cause of health related problems is alcoholism and other addictions.

SABAS volunteers devote a considerable amount of time to this cause not only because of the tremendous financial impact of addictions on health care costs, but also because of the human cost to addicted individuals and their family and friends in our communities.

SABAS believes, with adequate support and funding, that excellent services as well as "modeling" community responsibility will make the difference.
